The could care less what the users need, they simply want to keep changing the OS so that your existing programs cannot be used nor can your existing hardware.
At least Office , was built before MS decided to create an operating system, with unremovable services that haunt you every day that you are not using Edge or any number of their useless add ons such as mail, that cannot be set to leave the mail on the server, so you will miss e-mails in Outlook because MS mail grabs and deletes the email from the mail server.
One person found this helpful. MS Office Pro and later is the application suite of choice for addressing business needs. There are cheaper, open source office suites but none deliver the seamless interoperability and format support that Office Pro provides. Simply put, you get that for which you pay and the cost is high.
Functionality earns MS Office Pro 5 stars. However, turning off the obnoxious OneDrive - why is this default - definitely desires 1 star being deducted. Please, Microsoft, because you can doesn't mean that you should. For the sake of power users' sanity, please make OneDrive optional. This product was delivered as a flash drive in a ziplock bag - no packaging! Seemed like a copy. I am completely disappointed and need to return it and ask for a refund!! Please don't make the same mistake I made.
Buyer beware the one I got looked nothing like image it was a homemade disk with license key in a paper CD sleeve not a official Microsoft disk. Plus I had to phone activate it which I didn't have to do with the one I got from a different source for my brother in-law.
Plus Microsoft would not let me get a backup disk it was denied with the key used. I did contact the vendor and they emailed me a different key but only by email no physical card just the emailed license key. I uninstalled the first one and the second key worked without a hitch but had to download the program and I am able to get an official Microsoft disk at an extra cost. When I was unable to re-install this on the same laptop, Microsoft said the key had been used over 20 times, vs.
Seems the seller sold my key to other people also. I had to buy new software as MS locked me out from reinstalling. Terrible business. Too many unnecessary changes that took valuable time trying to revert when possible back to an earlier edition. I'm going back to Wonderful to get what I want into a new laptop instead of the preloaded software. The product key is invalid, do not buy from this seller.
